This is a first in a series of project that explores whether play can be used as an illustrative language to transform the general audience’s experience of illustration.
For this project, I created sets of toys and games that serve as illustrations for the novel '‘Midnight’s children’' by Salman Rushdie. The illustrative objects are then given to public audiences (various backgrounds, most are not creative workers) to handle and play with, some with the context of the book, some without.
